Overview
SingMax lets you sing along to songs that adapt to your voice, with scrolling lyrics, real tracks, and feedback on your performance. These Terms explain what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, while using the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SingMax. If you're between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using SingMax, you confirm you meet these requirements.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at hello@singmax.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Your recordings & content
When you record yourself singing, you keep ownership of that recording. By using SingMax, you grant us a limited, worldwide license to store, process, and analyze your recordings solely to operate and improve the scoring, coaching, and playback features of the Service. We don't publish or share your recordings with other users unless you explicitly choose to.
You're responsible for the content you record and upload, and you confirm you have the rights needed to use it within SingMax.
Acceptable use
When using SingMax, you agree not to:
- Upload or record content that's unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code, song catalog, or backing tracks from the Service.
- Access or attempt to access another user's account without permission.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
- Circumvent subscription limits, paywalls, or usage restrictions.
Subscriptions & billing
SingMax offers Starter and Pro subscription plans, billed monthly or annually, each with a 7-day free trial. During the trial you can cancel at any time at no charge; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and you'll be charged the plan price shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed, renewed, and refunded according to that platform's policies — manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from Account settings; changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
Intellectual property
The Service — including the SingMax app, website, branding, and software — is owned by SingMax and protected by intellectual property laws. Song recordings, lyrics, and backing tracks available through SingMax are licensed from their respective rights holders and remain their property. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.
Third-party content & services
SingMax integrates third-party services (like sign-in providers, payment processors, and hosting infrastructure) to operate the Service. We aren't responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
Disclaimers
SingMax is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Vocal scores and AI coaching feedback are generated automatically and are intended for entertainment and self-improvement purposes only — they're not professional vocal, medical, or health advice. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SingMax and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using SingMax and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or to protect the Service and its users. Where reasonably possible, we'll give you notice before doing so.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@singmax.com so we can try to resolve any issue directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use SingMax after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
